Prepare Your Audiobook Chapters Without the Processing Hassle

$423.95 $281.21 CAD

How would you feel if, after recording your audiobook chapter, you knew exactly what to do next?

I will process one of your audiobook chapters with you, create a custom Auphonic preset for your voice, and give you a repeatable blueprint for preparing future chapters.

For many narrators, recording is not the hardest part.

Preparing the chapter for ACX is.

You record a 30-minute chapter in about an hour.

Then you spend hours dealing with:

  • Background noise
  • Mouth clicks
  • Breaths
  • Loudness
  • Peaks
  • RMS
  • EQ and compression
  • ACX requirements
  • Different plugins and settings

In some cases, preparing the audio can take 10–15 times longer than recording it.

The problem is usually not the recording itself.

The problem is not knowing which tools to use, when to use them, and what settings work best for your particular voice and recording environment.

Let’s Build Your Audiobook Processing Workflow

This is a 1-to-1 audiobook audio processing consultation.

Instead of giving you generic settings, I will work with an actual chapter recorded by you.

I will analyze your audio and create a custom Auphonic preset specifically for your recording.

Then, during our 1-to-1 session, I will show you how to use that preset and what else you may need to do before uploading your chapters to ACX.

How It Works

Step 1 — Send Me Your Unprocessed Chapter

Send me one audiobook chapter recording.

You should already remove recording mistakes, repeated words, repeated sentences, false starts, etc.

However, do not apply audio processing effects.

I want to work with your original recording.

Step 2 — I Analyze and Process Your Audio

I will analyze your recording and determine the processing your voice needs.

Based on that analysis, I will create a custom Auphonic preset for you.

Step 3 — We Meet 1-to-1

During our private call, I will explain:

  • What settings I used
  • Why I used those settings
  • How to use your Auphonic preset
  • How to adjust or create variations when necessary

The goal is not simply to give you a preset.

I want you to understand how and why it works.

Step 4 — Get Your Complete Processing Blueprint

Auphonic may be able to handle most of your processing.

But depending on your recording, additional work may be necessary.

For example, you may need another tool for mouth clicks, breaths, noise, or another specific problem.

I will tell you exactly what tools or plugins I recommend for your audio and where they fit into your workflow.

You will leave with a clear process:

Record → Edit Mistakes → Process → Final Check → Upload to ACX
